It started with building

— serverless systems, AWS CDK, multi-account AWS environments designed from scratch. The deeper the work went, the clearer it became: cloud infrastructure only endures when the people behind it truly own what they’re running.

That realization led me to become an AWS Authorized Instructor. Not to leave architecture behind, but to complete it.

Today I architect secure AWS environments, deliver official AWS curriculum in German and English, and work beside engineering teams until the gap between design and understanding closes.

How I Work

I start with the architecture

— understanding what’s already built, what’s missing, and what needs to change. Then I build alongside your team, not in isolation. Every decision is documented, codified, and transferred.

I teach the same way.

Official AWS curriculum, delivered in German and English, grounded in the same real-world patterns your team will encounter in production.

I work with your team

— as a partner. By the time I leave, the infrastructure and the knowledge belong entirely to them.

Beyond the Cloud

Every detail is intentional

What started as a beekeeping hobby beside studying computer science became a design project. I wanted a jar of honey to feel like something worth giving — not just worth eating. So I designed from the experience backwards: how it feels to open the box, how the glass sits in your hand, how the label catches light. The glass was shaped by a designer and produced in Italy. The gift box folds open like a beehive.

The story can start anywhere. A hike to the beehives in the Alps, then a gift box to take home. Or a gift box first, then the walk to where the honey comes from. Either way, by the time someone gives it, the honey carries their own story — not just mine.

Beyond the Cloud

A temple school in Thailand

I always wanted to go abroad. I spent two years working across tourism, agriculture, and hospitality in Australia.

Traveling through Southeast Asia, I met a monk at a Buddhist temple in rural Thailand. He told me about the English classes he ran for village children during the summer holidays. I said yes.

What I didn’t expect: I could create an atmosphere where learning happened.

I returned two years later. Eventually I was selected from roughly 1,200 applicants for a GIZ scholarship — a software consulting project in the Philippines.

Beyond the Cloud

Bees, Bits, and tiny barcodes

During my master’s studies, I heard about a research project at Freie Universität Berlin — tracking every individual bee in a colony using cameras and QR codes. Computer vision was my field and I had just designed my honey gift box. There was no question what my master’s thesis would be about.

The work contributed to a published paper on tracking all members of a honey bee colony over their lifetime.
